Silent Dialogue
charcoal drawing was born from a unique multi-disciplinary process: a still frame captured from a video work filmed by the artist at the Dead Sea.
The piece depicts two dancers, their silhouettes stretched and transformed by the reflective, saline waters of the lowest point on earth. Drawn on textured brown paper, the work highlights the ethereal quality of the reflection, where the bodies lose their solid boundaries and become part of the liquid landscape. It is a profound meditation on the dialogue between the human body and the raw elements of nature.
