Peripheral II
A unique study of geometric repetition and structural density. Ink on canvas, 109 x 50 cm. Hand-drawn using a dip pen (crow quill) without mechanical aids or rulers.
Detailed Description
Peripheral II continues the exploration of the manual grid, focusing on the transparency and vibration of the ink lattice. Every line is a result of a repetitive, disciplined motion, where the absence of a ruler allows the "imperfection" of the artist's hand to become the primary subject.
The narrow format emphasizes a vertical slice of a larger, metropolitan-like structure. The ink flows with subtle variations in weight and pressure, creating a living texture across the geometric planes. This piece is designed to function as a standalone work or to be paired with Peripheral I to form a balanced diptych.
