Mefuchami | Charred (Print)
Description:
A haunting and deeply personal response to the events of October 7th. "Mefuchami" (Charred) is a visceral exploration of trauma, identity, and the fragile boundaries of territory.
The portrait, rendered in stark black ink with piercing red accents, is constructed entirely from thousands of interlocking triangles. These triangles serve a dual purpose: they mirror the geometry of the Star of David, embedding a Jewish identity into the very fabric of the figure, while also representing the fragmented and broken borders of a land under siege.
The title "Mefuchami" refers to the scorched remains witnessed by the artist, capturing a moment where human form and architectural debris blur into one. Created 100% freehand, the precision of the ink work stands in silent contrast to the chaos of the subject matter, offering a space for reflection on memory, loss, and the resilience of the spirit.
Medium: Professional Grade Ink on Paper.
Technique: 100% Freehand (no rulers or guides used).
Dimensions: 50x69 cm / 19.7x27.1 inches.
Signature: Hand-signed by Sahar Azimi.
Concept: A tribute to the victims of October 7th and a study of Jewish resilience through geometric deconstruction.
